Thinking About Fences

Know one thing that’s never been on my mind until recently? Fences. Yup. Fences. I was recently driving through a neighborhood in Warsaw IN and each home had their own type of fence. Now at first I thought it was pretty anti-social, but then I realized that these fences really added something to the homes. They added character! When I arrived home I started thinking about getting a fence for our front yard – and now I wish I had one! I’m going to start researching fences in Warsaw IN more to see if I can find the right solution for our home in Warsaw.

Reminiscing on the Past

I recently ran into my best friend from 11th grade. I haven't seen her in over 15 years, actually since high school, but meeting up again was as if we never skipped a beat. We reminisced over all the boys we were crushing on, and all of the terrible decisions we made.  As a mother of 2 daughters under 5 I was both excited and terrified for the experience of them in High School. Until it hit me, 15 years ago video surveillance in Chicago, IL wasn't a common occurrence in households. It was one of those things you saw on TV but never really had. That is until more recently basically every security system out there has a surveillance option. I hope my girls grow up with a best friend like mine, but boy am I grateful to be able to keep a watching eye even when they might not know it.

Gotta Have Faith

I had always wanted a wooden fence. I didn't care if it was in style or if my neighbors didn't like it, I just always wanted a wooden fence. I called a local fence contractor in Allendale NJ and they were able to give me an estimate just by coming out to my home and assessing the property and what work needed to be done. It was a much easier process than I thought it might be which is extremely helpful since I am working most of the time and really didn't want to take off work to oversee the work being done. I needed to be able to put my full faith in the contractor coming to my home.

Gated World

Most of the people I know have driveway gates in Winston Salem NC. This isn't because it is unsafe in Winston Salem, it adds extra security as well as looking beautifully crafted. I think it is one of the best parts of any driveway. It adds a lot of privacy to your home in a way that you never had before. The privacy factor is a big one. If you have a home with large windows, do you want everyone driving by to see into your home? I didn't think so. A gate could be the way to go!
