What Goes Into Roof Inspection and Repair

Have you noticed your roof is looking out of shape and clearly shows signs of its age? While this is an important telling sign you need some roof repair, it is not the only sign. Roofing can start to go bad in a number of ways that might not be clear to the average home owners eye. Getting a routine inspection can help catch problems before they arise.

So what goes on during a roof inspection? Typically a roof inspector will take a look at the attic and exterior of the roof for any signs of trouble. This could include mold, water damage, or misplaced parts. Signs of water damage mean your roof isn't doing its job to keep moisture out of the home. This could be a sign that their is a leak or damaged part on the roof that needs repair. An inspector while work to patch holes or replace rusted parts to ensure the roof is ready to do its job again.
