Security VS Privacy?
I wanted a fence contractor in Ho-Ho-Kus NJ to come out to my property and give me an estimate on security fencing as opposed to a privacy fence. I had been looking into both and I wanted a privacy fence more than anything. My home is a little further down a hill than my neighbor’s and they can see right into my home. It isn’t that I don’t trust them; it’s about the right to privacy! I want to be able to not feel uncomfortable walking around in my own home. There have also been a slew of robberies in the area, unfortunately, and because of that, the fence contractor and I discussed maybe having a system that both provides me with the privacy I so desperately want and need while keeping my family and my possessions secure. In addition to a new fence, we've also decided to look into video surveillance in Mount Kisco NY.

I Don’t Live in a Walk Up
Almost every apartment building in Washington DC has an elevator and when it breaks down, it feels like your life is ending. When I lived by American University, my apartment building refused to call an elevator repair service in Washington DC. For weeks I had been walking up and down the stairs to leave my apartment while I lived on the seventh floor… It is the most annoying thing any apartment building can do. Fix your elevators! I pay for the luxury of not having a walk up.
Clean Lines
One of the things I am constantly seeing is aluminum fence installation in Winston Salem NC. That doesn’t make the aluminum style any less stylish or any more contrived. I think, in fact, it is a testament to the aluminum fence withstanding the test of time. If I am going to be investing in a fence, I want it to last as long as possible. Otherwise what would be the point of investing the money in something that may or may not fall apart in the next decade or two. Aluminum fencing looks clean and practical which for most homes is the way to go.
Home Renovation
I
had been planning a home renovation for a few years now. I saved up, met with
designers and really tried to make my money last. I had decided that I wanted a
roof that had Spanish tile. It was definitely one of the more interesting
options and I wanted to stand out a little bit. I had a pretty hard time trying
to find roofers in Washington
DC that would install Spanish tile
and ensure its warranty. But finally now that my home renovation is finished,
I’m ecstatic. The Spanish tile gave my home a little bit of a pop setting it
apart from the other homes on the block.

Southern Summers
Living
in Mechanicsville VA, we have the pleasure and privilege of experiencing all
four seasons. When I was younger, I loved autumn. The leaves the jump into were
the best part of any season and the most fun! However, no one tells you that
when you own a home and get older, while your children are jumping in leaves…
you’re cleaning out the gutters. After our eighth year of living in my home and
getting the ladder out to clean the leaves out of my gutters in Mechanicsville VA,
I said ‘enough is enough.’ I needed to find someone who could install
gutter-guards. Originally, when I lived in a one-floor ranch, it was easy
enough to get up there and clean the gutters. It was still a pain and not
something I looked forward to each fall, but it was manageable. When I moved
into a two-story home, I couldn’t find a ladder I felt safe enough on to clean out
the gutters! Thankfully, since I got these gutter guards installed I haven’t
had to get up there!
Moving Back In With The Parents...
I moved back in with my parents a few years after college in
hopes of saving up to purchase a place of my own. Well that day has finally come! I’ve hired a
great team of Montgomery County MD moving experts and am ecstatic to finally have a place of my own!
I’ve purchased what my Dad likes to call, “a great starter house”, complete
with 3 bedrooms and 2 and a half baths! I have my own master suite which comes
with a Jacuzzi style tub and stand up shower! I’m so excited to have a place
where I can start the next leg of my adventures.
Moving Disaster
I
just heard from a job I wanted in Chicago and I needed to be out there within
two-weeks to start my new job. Unfortunately that left me with a ton of things
to pack and little time. I called a moving company in Waymouth MA to
help me pack the things I didn’t know how. I had no idea that I was even
packing my valuables incorrectly and I know that without them, my things
wouldn’t have made it to the Windy City unscathed!
