Preparing your Yard for Winter

First off we would like to wish everybody a happy Thanksgiving! We hope you are able to spend time with loved ones and enjoy the holiday. Stay warm!

Winter is definitely upon us now so we need to make sure that's our focus. There are a variety of different ways that the winter effects our home, from shoveling the driveway, to making sure our fireplace and chimney is working fine. Something you may not think about but is equally important is how your fence withstand the winter.

Before the first snow storm of the year, you should walk around your yard and look for any trees or branches that are susceptible to damage from snow. If any of these branches are above your fence, your fence stands the risk of being damaged. If you find any of these branches in your yard, make sure to have them removed before it snows.

If you have any questions or have experienced damage to your fence, don't hesitate to reach out to a Newton NJ fence installation professional.
